Dispatcher/Scheduler

Join Our Transportation Team MTS, Inc., transportation contractor for the local public transit authority (MART), is seeking a Part-time Dispatcher/Scheduler.

Location: Athol

This position will be responsible for scheduling driver work assignments and overseeing the daily schedule while interacting with drivers in-person and over the two-way radio system. This role also communicates with employees at other locations as well as the public. Other duties, including periodic driving and shift coverage. Applicants must have strong computer skills along with effective and respectful communication capabilities and the ability to multi-task while maintaining organization. Familiarity with Athol and surrounding areas as well as a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Software specific training will be provided.

A Criminal History Background Check and Pre-Employment Screening will be required. This is a safety sensitive position. ~ EOE ~
