Pipefitter

A well established heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) company located in central Ma. is in need of experienced pipefitters for a Boston area construction project. • Must have a Massachusetts master and/or journeyman pipefitter license.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Must have an OSHA 10 certificate.
• Must have knowledge of the following and/or be willing to learn:
  • Read and interpret plans.
  • Follow project schedule and work accordingly.
  • Communicate with pipefitters, other trades, and project managers.
  • Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless steel tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, and stainless steel weld pipe.
  • Install valves, pipe hangers, and supports.
  • Use a beveling machine.
  • Test piping systems.
  • Basic rigging.
  • Leak test tubing systems.

Job type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8hrs/day.
