Join the Town of Lancaster's dynamic team as an Associate at the Thayer Memorial Library, a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant community hub. We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for this exciting role. Under the guidance of the Library Director, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a supportive environment.
As an Associate, you will directly engage with patrons, making a significant impact on their Library experience. You will provide circulation desk coverage, offer reference support, and assist with the use of Library resources. You will also play a key role in technical services activities and support programming, all contributing to the Library's role in the community.
Education, training, and experience include a High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of general library experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience.
Lancaster offers a competitive wage range from $18.43 – 24.65. Starting wage is $18.43.
The regular work schedule does not exceed 19 hours per week and is set by the Library Director or Assistant Director and may change under their direction to accommodate the staffing needs of the Library.
The working schedule is Monday 2-8; Tuesday 4-8; Thursday 3-8; Saturday 10-2.
