FULL-TIME TRUCK DRIVER/LABORER

The Town of Westminster Department of Public Works is accepting applications for (3) Full-Time Truck Driver/Laborer. A valid Mass Class B CDL with air brakes, 2B Hoisting Engineer License are required. High School graduate or equivalency with two years of experience in Public Works construction and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Duties/Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate will also have the ability to carry out oral and written instructions, follow proper methods,
procedures and safety precautions, and perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions.
Overtime hours are required during snow removal operations.
• Normal work hours: Mon – Fri 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 40-hours work week.
• Starting pay rate is $22.04 - $24.41 per hour depending upon qualifications.
New hires eligible for stipend(s) for license held after working twelve (12) months.
• $500 for Mass Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• $250 for Mass Hoisting Engineering License Type Class held

Ability to perform heavy manual labor under all weather conditions.
